Imran praised India's foreign policy: Former PM of PAK said - Putin was ready to give us cheap oil too, General Bajwa messed up!
Former
Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan has once again praised India. According
to Khan- When Russia attacked Ukraine, India continued to buy cheap oil from
it. I could not do this because the then Army Chief General Bajwa spoiled the
matter.
Imran
has already praised the Modi government on this issue. This time he blamed
General Bajwa for the failure. Said- I had finalized the deal of cheap crude
oil like India with Putin in Moscow, but Bajwa condemned the attack on Ukraine
and the matter got worse.
Independent
foreign policy is necessary
In a
video message to party workers, Imran said – I wanted to improve relations with
Russia because Pakistan needed two things from it. Cheap wheat and cheap oil.
We had to buy 20 lakh tonnes of wheat. At that time, due to the war, the prices
of oil in the world were increasing very fast. I went to Moscow and spoke to
President Vladimir Putin. They agreed to give us cheap wheat and cheap oil.
India was also buying cheap oil from them.
Khan
further said- When I came back here, our army chief (at that time General Qamar
Javed Bajwa) started telling me that Russia has attacked Ukraine, so condemn
it. I told Bajwa - Look at India. He is a strategic partner of America and a
member of the Quad. He doesn't condemn Russia. He is taking oil from Russia
without fear and without any problem.
Former
Prime Minister of Pakistan further says- Bajwa reprimanded Russia in a security
seminar the very next day to please America. The result was that India's
inflation rate went from 7.5% to 5.5% and Pakistan's inflation rate went
straight from 12% to 30%. Who got the loss? To the people of Pakistan. I was
doing all this a little for myself, I wanted the welfare of my people. Why is
our foreign policy made to please others? We sacrifice our people.
Another
new U-turn
Imran
gave an interview to a TV channel on Sunday. Imran is being called 'Mr. U-turn'
these days for turning away from old things and promises. Since being ousted
from power in April last year, till now Imran has said only one thing from
every platform that his government was toppled by a conspiracy by America.
In
the new interview, he also turned around on this matter. In response to a
question, he said – A cipher had come from America. It was sent by our
ambassador from Washington, but the matter was different. The Army King sitting
here had conspired to remove me. He has also confessed this in a conversation
with a journalist. Army should investigate against Bajwa and he should be
punished.
A
cipher is a type of diplomatic note or diplomatic letter. The ambassador in
another country sends it to his foreign ministry. This is a completely secret
document.
